I'm Miss Amelia Kallman, an American Showgirl-next-door. In ‘07 I started this blog when I moved to Shanghai to open China's 1st burlesque club. After opening Chinatown and becoming highly successful, this blog was shut down by Chinese authorities. After threats and incidents, I was forced to flee China overnight. Now I live in London where I've started to do shows again, and have written the book, 'Diary of a Shanghai Showgirl'. The timing feels right to bring this blog back. Hope you enjoy!

Nautical- Love Boat Party at CHINATOWN
I made the 'Carmen Miranda' & 'Mermaid' costumes in 2 days... if you were wondering why I wasn't picking up my phone last week! Put 7 new acts up that night! Huge success! Can't wait to do it again!
