Diary of a Shanghai Showgirl

I'm Miss Amelia Kallman, an American Showgirl-next-door. In ‘07 I started this blog when I moved to Shanghai to open China's 1st burlesque club. After opening Chinatown and becoming highly successful, this blog was shut down by Chinese authorities. After threats and incidents, I was forced to flee China overnight. Now I live in London where I've started to do shows again, and have written the book, 'Diary of a Shanghai Showgirl'. The timing feels right to bring this blog back. Hope you enjoy!

Umm....

Okay, I just loaded the 6 photos I managed to take yesterday. I realize I must do better than this. Excuse my culture shock, I will try to take better pictures in the future. Also, I just noticed, the steering wheels of cars are on the right side like in England, but the traffice pattern is the same as in the states! So weird!
