I'm Miss Amelia Kallman, an American Showgirl-next-door. In ‘07 I started this blog when I moved to Shanghai to open China's 1st burlesque club. After opening Chinatown and becoming highly successful, this blog was shut down by Chinese authorities. After threats and incidents, I was forced to flee China overnight. Now I live in London where I've started to do shows again, and have written the book, 'Diary of a Shanghai Showgirl'. The timing feels right to bring this blog back. Hope you enjoy!

Hi Amelia and Norm Have been droping in on your blog .Sound like you enjoyed Hongkong and now your are experanceing the real China !!! I am sure it will take a few weeks to get used to it all out there .It was geat to spend a bit of time with you in London . Dodge is doing well trying to keep him off the sauce !!!! Good luck with it all and Norm if you find any good stickes for me pop them in the post Big Love to you both the Beales Family xx
